Sbstract Poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA)-based chemically cross-linked xerogels, both neat and loaded with nanoparticulate hydrophilic silica (SiO 2 ), were obtained and characterized mainly through time domain NMR experiments (TD-NMR).
