In order to measure the residual stress in fiber material more conveniently by strain gauge, A measurement scheme based on slitting method and finite element simulation is proposed in this paper. The measurement models with different crack depth are established, and the influence of the distance from crack to strain foil are also investigated. In addition, the residual stress field is estimated by temperaturestress field analogy.
