... DBM) is a burgeoning field of research. Hence, this paper surveys the extant literature of DDBM to assess the state of the art in this area. Based on these insights, the paper suggests requirements of DDBM and opportunities for future business modeling research that could improve the analysis and generation of DDBM. As a consequence of these requirements, we suggest opportunities to extend the Business Model Canvas for data-driven business models.
