A Case of Three Impacted Supernumerary Teeth in the Mid-line Region of the Maxilla

Abstract:The incidence of impacted supernumerary teeth in the median maxillary region is 1.48~5.17%. Most patients present with one impacted tooth (62.5~85.7%) , although there are some rare cases with two (16.48~37.5%) or three (0.02~ 1.8%) impacted teeth. In the present study, we report the rare case of a patient who presented with three impacted supernumerary teeth in the median maxillary region. more » ... and treatment for impacted supernumerary teeth in the median maxillary region. XP revealed the presence of three impacted teeth, which were subsequently removed under general anesthesia.
