In the Kashkadarya basin, the destruction of natural zoogeographic barriers under the influence of anthropogenic factors has led to the expansion of the range of invasive species. With the construction of reservoirs in the Kashkadarya basin, the range of Unionidae, Euglesidae, Pisididae and Sorbiculidae families has been expanded.
