Thermodynamic Modeling of Carbonation of Cementitious Materials in Contact with Supercritical CO2

An analysis model of the carbonation is extended to simulate the attack of supercritical CO 2 on cementitious materials. Modifications were carried out by considering physical properties of supercritical CO 2 . Furthermore, experiments were conducted for the verification of the proposed model. It is found that the proposed model provides good estimation under the 10% CO 2 condition, while it underestimates the results under supercritical condition. The proposed method with modification,
