An intake manifold is the essential part of internal combustion engine regarding the performance. The intake manifold consists of plenum chamber and runners. The function of the manifold is to evenly distribute the combustion of air-fuel mixture to all intake port in the cylinder head. This equal distribution is important to optimize the performance and efficiency of the S.I engine.
