There are certain treatment processes in many branches of industry and scientific research during which or due to which hazardous substances are emitted. Special attention must be paid in this respect because the respiratory route enables them to get into the body without our awareness and in the long run they may cause diseases. This thesis presents the results of experimental research where the presence of selected metals in waste gases after ablative laser treatment was analyzed. The AAS

The maximum surfaces that can be processed with ablation without exceeding the acceptable concentrations of these metals in the air were determined. The results obtained unequivocally indicate the necessity to conduct research into the harmful effect of the treatment process waste and to apply filtering systems.
