<p><strong>Abstract: </strong>This research is a descriptive qualitative study that aims to describe the profile of students' mathematical problem solving abilities with field dependent cognitive styles. The research subjects were fourth grade students of Islamic Elementary School Mohammad Hatta in Malang City.
