The Results of Press Fit Condylar Total Knee Arthroplasty without Patella Resurfacing in Rheumatoid Arthritis

The outcome of PFC (press fit condylar) total knee arthroplasty was evaluated five years and three months (average) after surgery in 16 patients (22 knee joints) with rheumatoid arthritis (RA). No patellar resurfacing was conducted on any of the patients, while cement was used for tibial fixation in 16. The results were evaluated based on the JOA criteria RA scores and X-ray images.
