Energy consumption of buildings depends on the daylight

In order to reduce energy consumption in heated buildings and thus fossil fuels, there is a need for proper modernization of existing buildings and new construction with reduced energy demand. The size and the insulation of windows have a decisive influence on the amount of heat loss.
