Merkmale: Tortella nitida ist an folgenden Merkmalen zu erkennen: (1) Zellübergang vom hyalinen Blattgrund zur papillösen Lamina graduell und flach V-förmig. (2) Blattspitzen brüchig. (3) Rippe dorsal glatt, nur im obersten Blattspitzenbereich mit papillösen Zellen. (4) Zentralstrang deutlich.
