This paper [written in SPANISH] discusses the results of new analyses of the materials at the key site of El Saladero excavated in 1950 and 1955 by Cruxent and Rouse. Reviewing the collections curated at the Peabody Museum of Natural History, Yale University (YPM), we selected for dating 14 ceramic sherds and 5 charcoal samples, representative of the Saladero, Barrancas, Los Barrancos and Guarguapo complexes or styles.
