This paper uses the strategic management technique of scenario planning to focus attention on plausible futures for the use of leT in education and to stimulate strategic thinking about technology, teaching and learning. It begins by looking at some predictions about the use of technology in education and presents two scenarios as vignettes. Both scenarios are about Year 9 students and teachers.
