In vitro control of Alternaria solani included studies of different fungicides, essential oils basil and ethyl extract of Allium cepa. In Romania in the case of tomato culture it is very low due to several production constrains including diseases. One such disease is the early blight caused by fungus Alternaria solani (Ell.) Martin.
