A 2-week intensive course o n laboratory animal science will be organized at the D e p a r t m e n t of Laboratory A n i m a l Science -Utrecht, The N e t h e r l a n d s in M a y 2000. This course h a s been organized once a year since 1993. The objective of this couse is to present basic facts a n d principles that are essential for the h u m a n e use of animals a n d for the quality of research.
