metabolic biomarkers, increasing age, Korean ethnicity, higher disease activity and increased serum leptin performed similarly (AUC ROC=0.75). Conclusions: SLE patients who develop incident MetS exhibit a more inflammatory disease phenotype, with higher corticosteroid exposure in the preceding visit.
