A green synthetic method for co(ii,iii) oxide nanoparticles with high surface activity

An environmentally friendly method is proposed to isolate Co3O4 nanoparticles with high surface activity. Instead of usual organic solvents, three different natural sugars, including glycogen, sucrose, and glucose are used for the first time as templates, and water as a green solvent, is used in all the steps. The crystallite sizes of the samples are 22.61 nm, 36.22 nm, and 30.093 nm for glucose, glycogen, and sucrose templates, respectively. The adsorption-desorption isotherms for all the
