The result of this study state that students' scientific skill are low. The level of students' scientific literacy are nominal.</p><strong>Abstrak:</strong> Literasi sains menjadi kemampuan penting yang diperlukan pada abad 21. Literasi sains digalakkan oleh banyak negara untuk menghadapi perkembangan ekonomi dan teknologi. Literasi sains adalah kemampuan menggunakan pengetahuan dan pemikiran ilmiah untuk memecahkan masalah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menjelaskan kemampuan literasi sains siswa pada pokok bahasan usaha dan energi. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada 72 siswa pada kelas XI di SMAN 4 MADIUN tahun ajaran 2020/2021. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan tes. Soal tes berupa butir soal essay kemampuan literasi sains dengan reliabilitas 0,608. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tingkat literasi sains siswa rendah. Tingkat literasi sains siswa berada pada kategori nominal.
