This study aims to understand the influence of Project Based Learning model aided with virtual laboratory in increasing student's creative thinking and concept understanding about Eubacteria in 8 High School Semarang. The research method used in this study is the experiment of pretest-posttest control group design. ... study are in the type of written test to measure student's concept understanding students' creative thinking. The analysis result of the two-sided t-test from the posttest of experiment and control group's concept understanding, it is obtained that the t count value is (2,728), which is bigger compared to the t table value at (2,094). The result of the two-sided t-test of experiment and control group's creative thinking, it is obtained that t count value is (4,962), which is bigger compared to the t table value at (2,094). It shows that there are differences of concept understanding and creative thinking between students group who learn with Project Based Learning (PjBL) model aided with virtual laboratory compared to the control group. According to N-gain test, the student's concept understanding and creative thinking shows advancement in medium category. It can be concluded that Project Based Learning (PjBL) aided with virtual laboratory is able to increase the students' creative thinking and concept understanding about Eubacteria in the X class of 8 High School Semarang.
