Based on relevant data from 31 provinces and cities in China (excluding Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan) from 2015 to 2017, the evaluation index for the development level of the sharing economy is constructed from two aspects of development potential and development effectiveness, and the level of China's sharing economy is measured using the entropy method. The results show that the sharing economy development index of China's provinces and cities showed an upward trend from 2015 to 2017.
