In the conditions of the field experiment, the effect of chlormequat chloride, treptolem and a complex of treptolem and chlormequat chloride on the morphological features and the accumulation and redistribution of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium in oil poppy plants are studied. ... e, a complex of the preparations led to thickening of the basic assimilation tissue of the leaf chlorenchyme due to the growth of its cells. As a result of these changes in the photosynthetic apparatus, the donor potential of oil poppy plants was substantially increased. Due to the increased stem branching under the action of preparations, there was an additional number of new attracting centres – pods. This led to the redistribution of elements of inorganic nutrients towards the fruit formation.
