This article is devoted to the problem of improving the accuracy of accounting for oil when pumping it with the use of oil custody transfer metering system, using the readings of the flow converters of density. The basic concepts in determining the results of control the metrological characteristics of the density converter and the method for determining the intercontrol interval are considered.
