Georegistration of imagery from unmanned aircraft systems using Ada
2009
Proceedings of the ACM SIGAda annual international conference on Ada and related technologies - SIGAda '09
As Unmanned Aircraft Systems are used for an increasing number of applications, the challenge of precisely locating the geospatial position of imagery coming from the UAS is becoming more crucial. Through work that has been done in conjunction with the US Air Force Academy, Ada has been used to calculate the position and size of UAS imagery based on field-of-view calculations and elevation data. This paper describes the work that has been done this past year to georegister UAS imagery and how
