What Might the Changing from "Rumbling" to "Walking" Tell Us about the Urban Design Policy?

The purpose of this paper is to describe the breadth of research on the relationship between "rambling" and urban space and urban design. 95 literatures have been organized, and one turning point is the period when "urban activity" was established as the definition and purpose of "rambling. As for the breadth of research, studies on people have been accumulated, but studies on space and literature, as well as time-series and international comparisons, have not been accumulated.
