The annual report documents the Bay Head municipal beach monitoring program of the eight beach profiles for 1997 based on three beach surveys completed in that year. Discusses changes in shoreline and beach volume and provides comparisons between the three surveys. Concludes that this year's winter beach erosion occurred earlier than normal.
