Human genome project has been moving on to the post genomic sequencing era including SNP (single nucleotide polymorphism) analysis, genomic function analysis, and proteome analysis. Towards post genomic sequencing era, laser confocal fluorescence detection system has been developed for the imaging of single DNA molecule migrating in the microchannel on a microchip.
