A Two Slotted Circular Microwave Antenna Design for Hyperthermia System Applicators
2016
International Journal of Computer Applications
The critical element in the hyperthermia system is an antenna. The quality of the system and performance of antenna determines the electromagnetic energy (EM) deposition into the tissue. This paper presents the design and simulation of two slotted circular microwave based antenna used for hyperthermia applicator. The antenna is designed to operate at a frequency of 2.45GHz which is a designated medical band frequency to be used for hyperthermia applicators. The performance of the two slotted
