Light Curve of SN1987A and the Pulsar Cavity Model

Assuming the pulsar cavity model, the dissipation rate of the energy from the pulsar is computed. In this model, the energy liberated from the pulsar is assumed to be confined in the cavity and the cavity expands by pushing the supernova ejecta. Through the shock compression just outside the cavity surface, a fraction of the pulsar energy compiled in the cavity is dissipated. The energy supply to the light curve by this dissipation may become dominant in the stage after the radioactive energy
