This study aims at identifying factors in improving the basketball shooting average. After testing shooting averages of 10 player subjects and 10 non-player subjects on court, shooting forms of five subjects randomly selected from each group were analyzed in 2D analysis. The analysis showed that slightly increasing both the amount of shoulder extension/flexion and the amount of hip extension/flexion leads to an increase in the shooting distance.
