ESTIMATING ECONOMICSTECHNOLOGICAL TOOLS FOR STUDYING ENGLISH THROUGH THE TECHNOLOGICAL ACCEPTANCE MODEL

The paper aims at using the numeric correlation among the TAM"s components to explore, understand and estimate college students" use of information and communication technology (ICT) for learning English. The sample involved 320 freshmen of Economics at the University of Finance-Marketing (UFM), and they filled out a survey form electronicallyabout three months after having experienced the use of ICT for studying English. The major findings show that the original research model consisting of
more » ... el consisting of five factors is transformed to the one with four because perceived usefulness and attitude to use are grouped via the exploratory factor analysis and renamed as behavioral attitude to use. The research also indicates that previous experiences with ICT principally influence students" perceived ease of use and theirintention to use is determined by their behavioral attitude to use.
