Prepared tablets were subjected to different evaluation parameters such as hardness, thickness, friability, weight variation, and drug content uniformity, in vitro disintegration time, wetting time, in vitro dissolution studies and stability studies are carried out by using best formulation. Thus, sublingual tablet of Felodipine could be an alternative route to avoid gastrointestinal side effect as well as bypass hepatic first pass metabolism. The formulated sublingual tablets may act as a potential alternate for the Felodipine oral tablet. Keywords: Felodipine, Crospovidone, Sodium starch glycollate, Sublingual Tablet, Hypertension
