Manta Karidesi (Squilla Sp.), Sübye (Sepia Sp.) ve Mavi Yengeç (Callinectessapidus, Rathbun, 1896) Atık Kabuklarının Kitin ve Kitosan Verimi

This study was undertaken to determine the efficiency of chitin and chitosan of shellwaste ofmantashrimp, squid and bluecrab. Chitin and chitosan production was carried out by a chemical method. Inthestudy, moisture%, nitrojen content%, crudeash% andcrudelipid% of thewasteshell, chitin and chitosan were also analyzed. Theefficiency of chitin and chitosan of the shell waste of mantashrimp, squid and blue crab was determined as %14.89 with %12.52, %2.87 with %1.69 and %10.21 with %7.55
more » ... y. Consequently, it is determined that theefficiency of chitin and chitosan of mantashrimp and bluecrab is significiantly higher than the efficiency of squid fish bone when compared. Özet Bu çalýþma manta karidesi, sübye ve mavi yengeç atýk kabuklarýnýn kitin ve kitosan verimini incelemek amacýyla yapýldý. Kitin ve kitosan üretimi kimyasal yollarla gerçekleþtirildi. Araþtýrmada ayrýca atýk kabuk, kitin ve kitosanýn %nem, %nitrojen içeriði, %ham kül ve %ham yað analizleri de yapýldý. Manta karidesi, sübye ve mavi yengeç atýk kabuklarýnýn kitin ve kitosan verimi sýrasý ile %14.89 ile %12.52, %2.87 ile %1.69 ve %10.21 ile %7.55 olarak tespit edilmiþtir. Sonuç olarak manta karidesi ve mavi yengecin atýk kabuklarýnýn kitin ve kitosan veriminin sübye iç kabuðuna kýyasla önemli derecede yüksek olduðu belirlenmiþtir.
