Diarrhoea is a leading cause of childhood morbidity and mortality in Nepal, a developing country where the larger proportion of the population live in rural areas. Poverty, illiteracy, lack of health care facilities at local level, demographical distribution and traditional beliefs are the major obstacles for getting proper and timely healthcare.
