Japan This study was conducted to investigate the ecology of hatchery-reared Japanese sandˆsh Arctoscopus japonicus. In April 2000, a total of 6,966ˆsh (mean total length 10.4 cm) were tagged and released in Nanao Bay oŠ Ishikawa Prefecture and Toyama Bay oŠ Toyama Prefecture.
