Preimplantation Genetic Screening (PGS) is a diagnostic technique which, by identifying euploid embryos for Embryo Transfer, aims at sensibly increasing IVF efficiency, in terms of lower miscarriage rate, and abnormal pregnancy rate, while increasing the chances to conceive on a per ET base. ... cal evidences have been produced in the last years that certified a higher efficiency in IVF, when PGS on trophectoderm biopsy by 24chromosome screening techniques is applied, with respect to the standard care. This case report represents an emblematic example of the potential of decreasing the time-topregnancy (calculated as number of ETs performed) subtended by PGS approach. We describe the case of a 43 years and 9 months old infertile patient with a history of 2 years of unsuccessful attempts to conceive sponta-neously resulting in nothing other than a miscarriage at the 8 th week of gestation. This patient was proposed PGS and, by avoiding several aneuploid ETs along 3 different IVF cycles, conceived an healthy baby in only 5 months.
