The unusual phosphatidylcholine species, dilauroylphosphatidylcholine (DLPC), has been reported to bind and activate the orphan nuclear receptor, liver receptor homolog-1 (LRH-1). To date, DLPC has not been reported endogenously in metabolomic databases.
