Progress in implementing the Global Strategy for Plant Conservation

In 2002 the international community adopted the Global Strategy for Plant Conservation (GSPC) through the United National Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD). The Strategy and its different elements are now well known, including its objectives as well as the 16 outcome orientated targets it incorporates, to be achieved by 2010.
