Tactile stimulation for people in the later stages of dementia is known to be comforting. There are numerous ways of inducing this kind of stimulation. It is debated in literature whether the doll-therapy is in line with person-centered dementia care. In the described project, following the reflective transformative design process, a more dignified design for tactile stimulation is developed.
