S. RAKHMANINOV'S «PIECE-FANTASY» OP.3 IN THE ASPECT OF PIANO INTERPRETATION

The subject of the study is the peculiarities of the performing interpretation of the piano cycle by S. Rachmaninov «Piece-Fantasy», op. 3 (Elegy, Prelude, «Melody», «Polyshynel», Serenade). The purpose of the study -by comparing the three complete versions of the cycle (S. Rachmaninov, S. Rodrigues, V. Gryaznov) to reveal the peculiarities of his performing interpretation. ... alization. Results of the study: to the vector of interpretation the analyzed performances are referred as reference (S. Rachmaninov), innovative (V. Gryaznov) and traditional (S. Rodriguez); to the style model -conditionally classical (S. Rachmaninov), impressionistic (V. Gryaznov) and romanticized (S. Rodrigues); performances differ in metro-rhythmic and dynamic parameters, sound attack, degree of differentiation of the facture. Conclusions: the cycle of S. Rakhmaninov provides the possibility of his very broad performing interpretation. Scope of the results: in the educational process of artistic high schools in the specialty «Musical art».
