The present paper examines the molluscan and/or echinoid assemblages recovered from two lithostratigraphic units (Piedras Rodadas Sandstone and Arroyo de Arce Norte Sandstone) outcropping in the Pliocene Loreto Basin, Baja California Sur, Mexico.
