for the JEM-EUSO Collaboration EUSO-Balloon is a balloon-borne experiment, conceived as a pathfinder for JEM-EUSO experiment which is the first experiment measuring the highest energy cosmic rays from space. EUSO-Balloon is equipped with an optical system made by two Fresnel lenses and one photo detection module (PDM), representing a complete prototype for the JEM-EUSO experiment.
