Gaussian processes associated to infinite bead-spring networks

We construct families of Gaussian processes x(t,n) which model a class of infinite strings of stochastically fluctuating, interacting beads. We examine covariances and draw conclusions about the subdiffusive nature of the processes x(t,n) and x(t,n 1 ) − x(t,n 2 ). This work was stimulated by recent work of McKinley, Yao, and Forest.
