Felix Barlocher is an associate professor of biology at Mount Allison Univ., Sackville, N.B. EOA 3CO, Canada, where since 1983 he has conducted research on microbial/invertebrate interactions in streams and estuaries. Prior to 1983, Barlocher was a lecturer at the Botanical Institute, Univ. of Basel, Switzerland and worked on the ecology of streams in France, Germany and Switzerland.
