Abstract. The aim of this article is trying to answer the question about possibility of realization of idea the balanced development by activity of animators acting in the local communities. Described context of this search are following threats: the mercantilism and the turbocapitalism, pathology and the unfitness for limiting the system of the power, lack of the values, deprecating the human knowledge. These problems we are devoting in the first part of the article. In the second part we are referring the interview conducted with the animator operating in the specific socio-cultural environment. We are demonstrating the potential and threats of her activity, marked in the natural way of the awareness of meaning three constitutive for the balanced development elements: of relation, market, environment.
