PAPER ABSTRACT This paper reports on changes in lifestyles and infill renovation of a multi--family housing complex built based on the idea of the Century Housing System (CHS) in 1987. The purpose of this research is to acquire knowledge of the adaptability and changeability of the infill system to extend the life of such housing. The author found that the building components which were designed to be used and replaced every 12 to 25 years were actually replaced in many units as planned.
