Extended X-ray absorption fine structural studies of copper and nickel ferrites

The Cu-Ni ferrites with general formula Cu 1-x Ni x Fe 2 O 4 (where x=0.0, 0.05, 0.10, 0.15, 0.20) were prepared by solid state root method. X-ray, K-absorption fine structural measurements were carried out. EXAFS spectra have been recorded at the K-edge of Fe using the dispersive EXAFS (DEXAFS) beam line at 2.5GeV Indus-2 synchrotron radiation source RRCAT, Indore, India. The EXAFS data have been analysed using the computer software Athena. These have been used to determine the bond lengths in
