Size: 28 students of 2nd Year BAMS students were enrolled in study including too consented to participate.Period of study: April 2022Study Area: SJGAMC & H Koppal, Sampling technique: Non-probability convenience sampling techniqueData Collection Tool: Semi structured self-questionnaire method was developed for data collection Results: Results obtained statistically significant after orientation programme supported by Wilcoxon signed Rank Test Knowledge Scale <0.001 highly significant, Attitude Scale Scale<0.001 Highly significant, Practice scale <0.001 Highly significant. Conclusion: To encourage research activities Avishkara Central Research Laboratory has been conducted a orientation programme after orientation Undergraduates knowledge attitude and practice towards research is drastically increased, and it is widely accepted that scientific research orientation knowledge has contributed significantly to the practice of ayurveda and advancement of ayurvedic science.
