The Eukaryotic Translation Initiation Factor 4E Binding Proteins (EIF4EBP1, EIF4EBP2, EIF4EBP3) have different transcription factor binding profiles. Some transcription factors like E2F6 have been found to interact with the EIF4EBP1, EIF4EBP2, and EIF4EBP3 DNA sequence. As seen here, the majority of transcription factors binding to EIF4EBP1, EIF4EBP2, and EIF4EBP3 are different.
