The analysis of the trainings programs of different power orientation is conducted. In an experiment rowers participated by age 16-17 years that were divided into two groups 11 people in each. The ways of optimization of training process are certain. The program of the directed development of maximal force is worked out. Program efficiency is tested by testing on contention distance.
